Auction result well in line with expectations
In December this year Bonhams in Brussels held the auction Belgian and contemporary art, which included the work Dode letters Lettres mortes A.C.6(8).77 by Denmark. The price achieved of EUR 3,584.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Denmark have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Time Magazine in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,231.66).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Brüssel die Auktion Belgian and contemporary art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dode letters Lettres mortes A.C.6(8).77 von Denmark zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.584,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Denmark auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Time Magazine im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.231,66).
