Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ballerine by Demetrius Emmanuel Galanis was sold in the Paris Atelier du Monde auction at Artcurial in Paris in October 2017. The price achieved of EUR 910.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Demetrius Emmanuel Galanis achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Greek Femme En Noir in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 79,250.00 (€ 95,819.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ballerine von Demetrius Emmanuel Galanis wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Paris Atelier du Monde bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 910,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Demetrius Emmanuel Galanis erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Greek Femme En Noir im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 79.250,00 (€ 95.819,21).
