Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work S.Y. Varuna flying the burgee of the New York Yacht Club; and S.Y. Oithona flying the colours of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club. (2) by De Simone was sold in the The Marine Sale auction at Bonhams in April this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,200.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,211.25 (€ 1,380.43). Other works by De Simone have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,906.61) in April 2021 for the work The Aux S.Y. Valhalla.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit S.Y. Varuna flying the burgee of the New York Yacht Club; and S.Y. Oithona flying the colours of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club. (2) von De Simone wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Marine Sale bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.200,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.211,25 (€ 1.380,43) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von De Simone haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.906,61) im April 2021 für die Arbeit The Aux S.Y. Valhalla beobachtet.
