Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Marine Sale, which included the work SY Sirius in the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the distance by De Simone. The price achieved of GBP 956.25 (€ 1,140.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Other works by De Simone have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2021 the work The Aux S.Y. Valhalla was auctioned for GBP 1,657.50 (€ 1,906.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Marine Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit SY Sirius in the Bay of Naples with Vesuvius in the distance von De Simone zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 956,25 (€ 1.140,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von De Simone konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2021 die Arbeit The Aux S.Y. Valhalla für GBP 1.657,50 (€ 1.906,61) versteigert.
