Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2008 a collector was able to acquire the work Texas Landscape by Dawson Dawson-Watson for USD 5,938.00 (€ 4,217.03). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dawson Dawson-Watson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Harvest Time in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,394.77).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
