It changed hands for a price of USD 22,575.00 (€ 19,382.67) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Dawson Dawson-Watson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Harvest Time in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 110,394.77).

Die Arbeit Prickly Pear Cactus in Bloom von Dawson Dawson-Watson kam im Oktober 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 22.575,00 (€ 19.382,67) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00.
