Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2003 Christies in Sydney held the auction AUSTRALIAN, INTERNATIONAL & CONTEMPORARY PAINTINGS, which included the work Father and Baby by Davida Allen. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 15,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 16,450.00 (€ 9,717.87). Other works by Davida Allen have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 19,975.00 (€ 11,264.60) in November 2002 for the work With Knowledge of my Fourth Pregnancy.

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 15.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 16.450,00 (€ 9.717,87) einen neuen Besitzer.
