This artwork by David Vinckboons achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2013. In the Old Masters and 19th Century Art auction, the work A Wedding Banquet In A Village With Peasants Making Merry sold for EUR 85,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Vinckboons have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Vinckboons erzielte im Mai 2013 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit A Wedding Banquet In A Village With Peasants Making Merry für EUR 85.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Vinckboons auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Elegant company in an ornamental garden im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 445.569,25).
