The price achieved of GBP 296,750.00 (€ 330,605.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by David Vinckboons have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in July 2007 the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden was auctioned for GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).
