The price achieved of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Elegant company in an ornamental garden is the most expensive artwork by David Vinckboons that we have observed at auctions so far.
