Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David Vinckboons could be acquired at Sothebys in London in July 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work A Wooded Landscape With Elegant Figures Promenading, And Villagers With Their Cattle changed hands for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,172.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Vinckboons achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Elegant company in an ornamental garden in July 2007 with an auction result of GBP 300,000.00 (€ 445,569.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Vinckboons konnte im Juli 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit A Wooded Landscape With Elegant Figures Promenading, And Villagers With Their Cattle für GBP 37.500,00 (€ 41.172,51) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Vinckboons erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Elegant company in an ornamental garden im Juli 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 300.000,00 (€ 445.569,25).
