Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Bonhams in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work No Man's Land - Kalahari by David Tremlett. The price achieved of GBP 5,062.50 (€ 5,621.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by David Tremlett have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work British Drawing 10 / Africa in March 2010 with an auction result of EUR 24,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit No Man's Land - Kalahari von David Tremlett zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.062,50 (€ 5.621,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Tremlett auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit British Drawing 10 / Africa im März 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.750,00.
