This artwork by David Tindle achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in September 2016. In the Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector auction, the work Study of Nick for The Reader sold for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,171.48) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Tindle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tea, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59).

In der Auktion Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector wurde die Arbeit Study of Nick for The Reader für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.171,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Tindle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tea beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) versteigert wurde.
