Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Shaded Garden by David Tindle was sold in the Modern | British & Irish Art auction at Christies in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,134.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Tindle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tea, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59).

Die Arbeit Shaded Garden von David Tindle wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion Modern | British & Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.134,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von David Tindle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tea beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) versteigert wurde.
