The work Sand banks (Walberswick) by David Tindle was sold in the Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector auction at Christies in London in September 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,316.25), 33% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Tindle - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tea, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,232.59).

Die Arbeit Sand banks (Walberswick) von David Tindle wurde im September 2016 in der Auktion Brian Sewell - Critic & Collector bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.316,25) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von David Tindle mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tea beobachtet, die im Juni 2007 für GBP 4.200,00 (€ 6.232,59) versteigert wurde.
