This artwork by David Teniers II achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in December 2021. In the Town & Country: A Private Collection auction, the work A river landscape with travellers by a jetty and a man in a rowing boat, a church beyond sold for GBP 32,760.00 (€ 39,075.81) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Teniers II achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Wine Harvest |《葡萄酒收穫》 in December 2020 with an auction result of GBP 3,645,000.00 (€ 4,071,789.86).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Teniers II erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Town & Country: A Private Collection wurde die Arbeit A river landscape with travellers by a jetty and a man in a rowing boat, a church beyond für GBP 32.760,00 (€ 39.075,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00.
