A top price for David Teniers II - as previously expected
In December 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work The Wine Harvest |《葡萄酒收穫》 by David Teniers II. The price achieved of GBP 3,645,000.00 (€ 4,071,789.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000,000.00 – 5,000,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Wine Harvest |《葡萄酒收穫》 is the most expensive artwork by David Teniers II that we have observed at auctions so far.
