Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Still Life by David Shterenberg for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,485.11). This price was achieved in the auction Russian Paintings at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Shterenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of The Artist'S Father And Sister (Pinchas And Malka Shterenberg) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 350,760.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im November 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Still Life von David Shterenberg für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.485,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Shterenberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait Of The Artist'S Father And Sister (Pinchas And Malka Shterenberg) im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 309.000,00 (€ 350.760,97).
