Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Flowers by David Shterenberg was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 12,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,574.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Shterenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of The Artist'S Father And Sister (Pinchas And Malka Shterenberg) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 350,760.97).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Flowers von David Shterenberg wurde im Mai 2012 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 12.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.574,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Shterenberg erzielen.
