Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Red Roofs, Southern Town by David Shterenberg was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2014. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 13,275.43) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Shterenberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait Of The Artist'S Father And Sister (Pinchas And Malka Shterenberg) in November 2017 with an auction result of GBP 309,000.00 (€ 350,760.97).

Die Arbeit Red Roofs, Southern Town von David Shterenberg kam im Juni 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 13.275,43) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
