Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Louise Neri by David Seidner was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2001. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 4,112.50 (€ 4,634.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by David Seidner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "YSL", Anh Duong, 1986 in November this year with an auction result of EUR 20,160.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Louise Neri von David Seidner kam im April 2001 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 4.112,50 (€ 4.634,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Seidner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "YSL", Anh Duong, 1986 im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 20.160,00.
