Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April last year Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Six Christmas Cards (Arch Brackets, Olive - Mallorca, Tump, Red Box, Wooden Boulder and Untitled) each approximately 11 x 15cm (4 5/16 x 5 7/8in) (unframed) by David Nash. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,530.00 (€ 1,824.47). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Nash achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Charred Column in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 76,800.00 (€ 114,050.40).
