Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,212.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Montgomery - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Queen Elizabeth with Corgis, which sold at auction in June 2019 for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,530.48).
