In October 2020 Christies in London held the auction First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work New Reproduction by David Maljkovic. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,716.13), 25% above the upper estimate. With this result, New Reproduction is even the most expensive work of art by David Maljkovic that we have observed at auctions so far.
