Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Battersea Power Station - Country Life by David Mach was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2014. It changed hands for a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 4,236.23) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 4,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Mach achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Back in December 2014 with an auction result of GBP 74,500.00 (€ 95,906.21).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Battersea Power Station - Country Life von David Mach kam im März 2014 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 4.236,23) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 4.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von David Mach erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Back im Dezember 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 74.500,00 (€ 95.906,21).
