Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Canada Geese In Flight by David Maass for USD 4,063.00 (€ 2,988.82). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Maass - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Secluded Hideaway - Bob White Quail, which sold at auction in August 2021 for USD 12,750.00 (€ 10,805.08).

Im Oktober 2013 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Canada Geese In Flight von David Maass für USD 4.063,00 (€ 2.988,82) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings & Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Maass mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Secluded Hideaway - Bob White Quail beobachtet, die im August 2021 für USD 12.750,00 (€ 10.805,08) versteigert wurde.
