Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work ‘Tales Of The Dominions’ by David Low was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,984.94), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Admittedly, works by David Low have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work ‘Nuremberg’ (‘No Drums, No Trumpets, No Banners – Pah! How Much Better We Would Have Done It’) in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,771.10).

Die Arbeit ‘Tales Of The Dominions’ von David Low kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.984,94) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Low auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ‘Nuremberg’ (‘No Drums, No Trumpets, No Banners – Pah! How Much Better We Would Have Done It’) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.771,10).
