Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Beaverbrook Wild West' ('See What The Boys In The Back Room Will Have And Tell Them We’Ll All Have The Same') by David Low was auctioned at Sothebys in London in March 2018. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,423.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Low achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work ‘Nuremberg’ (‘No Drums, No Trumpets, No Banners – Pah! How Much Better We Would Have Done It’) in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 22,771.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Beaverbrook Wild West' ('See What The Boys In The Back Room Will Have And Tell Them We’Ll All Have The Same') von David Low kam im März 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ‘Nuremberg’ (‘No Drums, No Trumpets, No Banners – Pah! How Much Better We Would Have Done It’) im März 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 20.000,00 (€ 22.771,10).
