A top price for David Guzmán - as previously expected
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Principio De Incertidumbre by David Guzmán. It changed hands for a price of USD 28,125.00 (€ 22,747.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Principio De Incertidumbre is the most expensive artwork by David Guzmán that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Principio De Incertidumbre von David Guzmán zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 22.747,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Principio De Incertidumbre das teuerste Kunstwerk von David Guzmán, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
