Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David Guzmán could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Berimbau changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 10,568.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Guzmán - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Principio De Incertidumbre, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 28,125.00 (€ 22,747.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von David Guzmán konnte im November 2012 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Berimbau für USD 13.750,00 (€ 10.568,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David Guzmán mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Principio De Incertidumbre beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für USD 28.125,00 (€ 22.747,49) versteigert wurde.
