Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work El Relojero De Las Estrellas by David Guzmán. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 18,000.00 – 22,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,780.68) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by David Guzmán have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Principio De Incertidumbre was auctioned for USD 28,125.00 (€ 22,747.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit El Relojero De Las Estrellas von David Guzmán zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 18.000,00 – 22.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.780,68) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von David Guzmán konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2012 die Arbeit Principio De Incertidumbre für USD 28.125,00 (€ 22.747,49) versteigert.
