It changed hands for a price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,036.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by David de Coninck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A peacock, wild turkey, hares, and pigeons in a garden, a landscape beyond; and A hare and game birds with three dogs, a landscape beyond in June 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 112,067.42).
