In December 2006 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental and Russian Pictures, which included the work 11th Hussars on parade by David Dalby of York. The auction ended at the price of GBP 900.00 (€ 1,335.71), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by David Dalby of York achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cock Robin, A Chestnut Hunter In A Wooded Landscape With A Mansion Beyond in December 2003 with an auction result of USD 17,925.00 (€ 14,229.58).
