However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Dalby of York - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cock Robin, A Chestnut Hunter In A Wooded Landscape With A Mansion Beyond, which sold at auction in December 2003 for USD 17,925.00 (€ 14,229.58).
