Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Man and Machine by David Carr was auctioned at Christies in London in July 2013. It achieved a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,999.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David Carr - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Man And Machine II, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 3,840.00 (€ 5,702.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Man and Machine von David Carr kam im Juli 2013 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.999,68) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Für andere Arbeiten von David Carr mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Man And Machine II beobachtet, die im November 2006 für GBP 3.840,00 (€ 5.702,52) versteigert wurde.
