Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Boston Corners Landscape by David Brown Milne. It changed hands for a price of CAD 244,000.00 (€ 190,676.80) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CAD 150,000.00 – 250,000.00. Other works by David Brown Milne have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Trillums And Trilliums was auctioned for CAD 278,500.00 (€ 199,963.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Boston Corners Landscape von David Brown Milne zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CAD 244.000,00 (€ 190.676,80) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CAD 150.000,00 – 250.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von David Brown Milne konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Trillums And Trilliums für CAD 278.500,00 (€ 199.963,62) versteigert.
