The work Untitled (Saddam dick) by Dash Snow was auctioned at Phillips in New York in February 2018. The result of USD 5,000.00 (€ 4,094.67) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dash Snow achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 209,000.00 (€ 153,225.81).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Untitled (Saddam dick) von Dash Snow kam im Februar 2018 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 5.000,00 (€ 4.094,67) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dash Snow erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 209.000,00 (€ 153.225,81).
