Despite a disappointment, a good price for Darren Goins
When the work 06r, 2014 by Darren Goins was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,264.21). Despite this disappointing result, 06r, 2014 is the most expensive artwork by Darren Goins that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Darren Goins
Als die Arbeit 06r, 2014 von Darren Goins im September 2020 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.264,21) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist 06r, 2014 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Darren Goins, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
