Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2015 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Untitled 5150 by Daniel Turner. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 14,981.12) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Turner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work View of Blackfriars Bridge From The Thames With St Paul'S Cathedral Beyond; View of London Bridge From The Thames With The Monument And St. Magnus Beyond; View of The Original Toll Bridge At Battersea With The Water Tower; View of Old Putney Bridge,, which sold at auction in November 2006 for GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,640.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2015 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled 5150 von Daniel Turner zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 14.981,12) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
