The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,227.55), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Daniel Sherrin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Wooded Landscape with a Lake, which sold at auction in April 2005 for USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,359.78).
