Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Daniel Pflumm could be acquired at Sothebys in London in April 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Abtei changed hands for GBP 750.00 (€ 872.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Pflumm have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ohne Titel (Please wake me for meals - swissair) in November 2015 with an auction result of EUR 5,805.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Pflumm konnte im April 2019 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Abtei für GBP 750,00 (€ 872,47) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Pflumm auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Please wake me for meals - swissair) im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.805,00.
