Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale, which included the work Peruvian muchacha Con Pato (The Duck Girl) by Daniel Hernández. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,120.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Hernández have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Peruvianel Admirador (A Regal Admirer) in November 2007 with an auction result of GBP 28,100.00 (€ 39,347.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings Including German, Austrian and Central European Paintings, The Orientalist Sale, Spanish Painting and the Scandinavian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Peruvian muchacha Con Pato (The Duck Girl) von Daniel Hernández zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.120,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Hernández auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Peruvianel Admirador (A Regal Admirer) im November 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 28.100,00 (€ 39.347,27).
