Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Untitled (Self Portrait) 16 x 12 in. (40.6 x 30.5 cm) framed 21 x 17 1/4 x 1 in. by Dang Xuan Hoa for USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,759.11). This price was achieved in the auction Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dang Xuan Hoa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Life in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 55,010.44).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Untitled (Self Portrait) 16 x 12 in. (40.6 x 30.5 cm) framed 21 x 17 1/4 x 1 in. von Dang Xuan Hoa für USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.759,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art | Bonhams Skinner bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dang Xuan Hoa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Life im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 55.010,44).
