Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Self-Portrait by Dang Xuan Hoa was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 32,000.00 (€ 3,869.80). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dang Xuan Hoa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Life in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 55,010.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Self-Portrait von Dang Xuan Hoa wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 32.000,00 (€ 3.869,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dang Xuan Hoa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Life im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 55.010,44).
