Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Dang Xuan Hoa was sold in the Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in October this year. The price achieved of HKD 32,000.00 (€ 3,869.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Dang Xuan Hoa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Life in April 2008 with an auction result of HKD 667,500.00 (€ 55,010.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Dang Xuan Hoa wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Southeast Asian Modern & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 32.000,00 (€ 3.869,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Dang Xuan Hoa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Life im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 667.500,00 (€ 55.010,44).
