Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Bird" by Dan Perrin was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2011, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,500.00 (€ 956.66). Other works by Dan Perrin have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2014 by the work "Fladdermus" at SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,617.22).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Bird" von Dan Perrin im Mai 2011 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.500,00 (€ 956,66) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Dan Perrin wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2014 die Arbeit "Fladdermus" mit SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.617,22).
