Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Damien Hirst achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June last year. In the Prints and Multiples auction, the work Honour from The Virtues (H9-6) sold for GBP 17,850.00 (€ 20,736.62) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Damien Hirst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lullaby Spring in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,652,000.00 (€ 14,323,082.54).
