The work Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu by Dai Jitao was worth HKD 275,000.00 (€ 28,312.05) to a buyer in October 2014. This price was achieved in the auction Fine Chinese Paintings at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 70,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dai Jitao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy - Buddhist Scriptures, which sold at auction in May 2021 for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 92,494.26).

Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Kaishu von Dai Jitao war einem Käufer im Oktober 2014 HKD 275.000,00 (€ 28.312,05) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 70.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Dai Jitao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy - Buddhist Scriptures beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 92.494,26) versteigert wurde.
