Réalisé en 1975. signed, titled and dated '''BOUKOKO'' DADO 75' (lower left); inscribed 'Chitine' (in the composition) acrylic, watercolour, India ink and paper collages on canvas 51 1 ⁄ 8 x 63 3 ⁄ 4 in. Executed in 1975.
Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Boukoko I by Miodrag Djuric was worth EUR 25,200.00 to a buyer in December this year. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ at Christies in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 many times over. Admittedly, works by Miodrag Djuric have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2021 with an auction result of EUR 163,800.00.
Kunstwerk zum Vierfachen des oberen Schätzpreises versteigert
Die Arbeit Boukoko I von Miodrag Djuric war einem Käufer im Dezember diesen Jahres EUR 25.200,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ bei Christies in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Miodrag Djuric auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 163.800,00.
