Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by David W. Haddon could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2002 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Sunday morning changed hands for GBP 293.75 (€ 454.36) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by David W. Haddon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a lady, bust-length, in a bonnet, wearing glasses, which sold at auction in June 2003 for GBP 705.00 (€ 1,013.12).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von David W. Haddon konnte im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Sunday morning für GBP 293,75 (€ 454,36) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von David W.
